We offer the ultimate pet boarding experience, with our top priority being the health, safety and happiness of your fur-baby! Our caring & attentive staff members are true animal lovers, who will always go above and beyond to ensure that your pet has a safe and enjoyable stay with us. Offering a Wide Variety of Services

Boarding

It’s only fair that your pet gets to vacation too! Our boarding accommodations are secure and spacious with comfortable raised bedding for dogs of all sizes and breeds. We provide individualized care and attention for every animal we keep, including giving medications and/or caring for senior pets with special needs! Our grassy play yards offer lots of room for dogs to run, play and interact instead of being cooped up all day. When it’s time to rest, our dogs retire to their own personal “dens” that include freshly filled water bowls and blanketed cots. We provide soothing music 24-7, which tends to help dogs settle down after a long day of playing! While our kennels are spacious, we limit the time spent there to feeding, digesting and sleeping. Dogs boarding with us get tons of indoor and outdoor play time during the day, and we also offer a before bedtime treat and let out every night around 9-10pm. Our main goal is to make your pet extremely comfortable while allowing them as much play/free time as possible! We want you to rest easy knowing that your pet is safe and sound with us while you are away.

Doggie Daycare

Do you ever wonder what your dog is doing at home while you’re at work? Well worry no more! Let your canine child(ren) come play with us at doggie daycare. We can assure you that they will have an action packed day, including but not limited to sun bathing with friends, ball fetching and warm weather pool splashing! Doggie daycare is beneficial in more then one way too. It not only physically and mentally stimulates them, but it can build your dog’s confidence, help their social skills and improve destructive behaviors due to stress or separation anxiety! Let us help your dog release some much needed energy when you‘re not able to, they’re bound to come home exercised and exhausted. A healthy dog equals a happy life!

Grooming

Let us pamper your pet at Country Paws Play and Stay! Our very skilled groomer loves what she does and makes every dog look like a superstar. From a deep massaging bath to a full body hair cut, we offer everything in between to make your fur-baby feel and smell “country linen” clean! Treat your pup to a spa day and they’ll come home feeling like a new dog. Schedule an appointment with us today or have your pet groomed while they’re being boarded! Grooming services are available on Tuesday, Thursday and some Saturdays. We accept dogs of all breeds and sizes, however we are not offering any grooming on cats at this time, only nail trims! Please refer to our price list for current grooming rates. Every pooch deserves to look and feel their best!

THE "BARKERY"

Here at Country Paws Play & Stay, we offer our own line of homemade dog and cat treats! In our kitchen, the oven is warm, the treats are fresh and there is 100% pet-loving devotion in every batch. We utilize all human-grade ingredients and make everything from scratch! We have a variety of treats from grain free, wheat and corn free, gluten free and much more. We also offer holiday themed treats, so your pet(s) can enjoy the seasonal festivities too! Our delicious treats are on display daily, but feel free to have us add some to your 4-legged family member’s meal time during their next boarding stay with us. These treats are the natural, wholesome way to love your pet(s)!

Requirements for Boarding, Daycare & Grooming

Please read our information below to ensure the best boarding experience for our furry friends!

food

We highly recommend that you provide your pet's own food to avoid any upset tummies. This also decreases any chance for additional GI stress. If food is not provided then we will feed your pet our kennel food at a charge of $2.50 per meal for dogs, and $1.50 per meal for cats. We offer Pedigree dry food for dogs and 9 Lives dry food for cats. Wet food of those same above brands will only be provided if your pet is not interested in dry food, but there will not be any additional charges. We also ask that all food is brought in securely sealed containers. We will not accept any open bags as it can attract rodents!

Medications

If your pet is on any kind of medication, please bring it in a sealed bottle with clearly written instructions. We will go over the instructions in thorough detail when you check your pet in! Be sure to let us know if any meds need to be refrigerated.

Toys and belongings

Every pet will have their own cubby for their personal belongings, but please limit your items so that they will comfortably fit in a 10.5"x10.5" storage cube. If your pet will be with us for an extended stay then large food containers are fine and can be stored on the floor. Toys are fine, but please do not bring the whole collection as we only allow the pets to play with them while they're in their own kennel, not outside with other dogs in fear of possession issues. Collars and leashes will also be stored in the pet's cubby while boarding as we use slip leads to take them in and out.

bedding

We know that all pets love their own big comfy beds, but we ask that you only pack blankets that can easily fit in the washing machine. We happily provide soft fleece blankets for every pet that boards with us too!

vaccination records

Please bring your pet's vaccine records if you were not able to provide them prior to your reservation. Unfortunately, we do have the right to turn away any and all pets if up-to-date vaccines are not provided. Please call us with any additional questions! We look forward to meeting you and your fur-baby!

Proof of vaccinations - Rabies, DHPP (canine distemper) & Bordetella (kennel cough) for dogs and Rabies, FVRCP (feline distemper) for cats.

Dogs must be at least 3 months of age with all adult vaccines complete.

Dogs must be spayed or neutered in order to participate in group play.

Whitney's Story

The owner of Country Paws Play & Stay, Whitney Postell, has been a passionate animal lover her whole life! Being an only child, she turned to her childhood pets for companionship. From there on, the love for animals became a true testament of her character! Since she was 10 years old, not a day has passed that she has not been the proud owner of at least 1 animal. She is happily married to her wonderful husband Daniel, to whom she owes everything for building her the kennel of her dreams! They own a peaceful 5 acre farm in Hollywood where they happily house many fur-babies. Their shared interest in horses is also a huge part of their lives! They actually got married on their farm in October of 2013, with their horses being a beautiful background for the ceremony. They share an amazing life together and are very thankful to both love animals so much! Whitney’s other loyal supporter is her mother Lynda, who has stood by her side her whole life. Without these two people, Whitney says her life would not be complete! She is beyond blessed to finally have her life long dream of owning a dog boarding facility come true. She says she simply cannot wait to have the opportunity to treat everyone’s pets as if they were her own! She lives and breathes for her animals and she is fully committed to giving that same devotion to her clients’ pets. She hopes that this friendly, family owned business will allow people to travel with ease and know that their furry child(ren) are in good hands!
